About me

Hey all! My name is Dylan and I've never had much of a chance to be a player in TTRPG but have a fair amount of experience as a DM. I've been DMing TTRPG games since 2016 and have built my skill set over the last several years. Since the beginning I've enjoyed mixing technology with my games. I have experience with in person games where I use a table with a tv set in it for seamless combat in my sessions. I used Roll20 for many years but have recently made the transition to Foundry for all my games and note taking. I have experience in DnD 5e, Pathfinder 2E, and most recently been exploring Cyberpunk Red. I think more than anything I really enjoy bringing new comers into TTRPG games due to its ability to bring people together! If you ever have any questions feel free to reach out to me.

GM style

Collaborative storytelling is at the core of any TTRPG game and thats what I love to focus on, telling great and impactful stories. I enjoy finding ways to weave my Player's backstories into all of my games while maintaining focus on a strong central story. I don't always do the best with theater of the mind but always come prepared with many locations and maps for any and all combat. I'm not great at doing voices for my npcs but I do my best to make each npc unique and feel real. My games tend to have a healthy mix of roleplay and combat to balance it out. I try my best to follow the core rules but I will tend to go for the "rule of cool" when comes to my Players thinking outside of the box.
