Hi all! My name is Kay and I'm a new DM here. I've been playing TTRPGS for almost two years now and have been DMing for nearly a year. GM Style As a DM, I strive to create a fun and immersive experience for my players by balancing roleplay with challenging situations, whether it's combat, social interactions, or puzzles. I believe that a great D&D game should be both exciting and thought-provoking, and I work hard to keep my players engaged and invested in the story. One of my favorite things about being a DM is seeing my players get excited and invested in their characters and the world around them. I love to hype my players up and encourage them to be creative, whether that means coming up with clever solutions to problems or taking risks in combat. At the same time, I'm always mindful of maintaining a fair and balanced game, and I strive to make sure that every player has a chance to shine. I'm also a big fan of integrating rule of cool elements into my games. While I always follow the rules and make sure that the game mechanics are working as intended, I also like to allow for moments of cinematic flair and heroic action. Whether it's a flashy combat move or a clever bit of roleplay, I believe that these moments can make the game more exciting and memorable for everyone involved.
