About me
I’ve been the DM for a homebrew weekly campaign for the past 2 years. We got into d&d then and have learn and grown since and it’s the highlight of my week. Over the past 6 months I’ve been running the wild beyond the witchlight for another group and we are having a blast. As a DM, I’m flexible and prioritise the players having fun. I like to work with my players to find out what aspects they find most fun and elevate those. I’ve taught brand new players and dm’d for experienced players who have been long time dm’s themselves. I love the game and I’d love to meet new people to play with and help create memorable and enjoyable experiences with.
GM Style
My style as a GM is to balance story and role play with some dungeon exploration. I lean more toward a sandbox style game for homebrew but have been running pre written modules and one-shots where the action is more guided. I love working with players on their backstory to try and incorporate plots and threads into the game and I aim to challenge my players whilst rooting for them to win!

World Builder
As a newbie and somewhat older than the other players, Martin (DM) shows great patience with my playing, especially as I took the role of a Wizard. If needed he is always happy to provide one to one guidance and advice. Martin has the unique nack of keeping the game flowing but also allowing the characters to explore and developed the storyline. He has the skills to fantasy write with prepared written storylines combined with the flexibility to deviate when necessity dictates. I don't know of any game playing nights where there has been no excitement, laughter or enjoyment. His knowledge of both the mechanics and lore are amazing which shines through in his passion for the game.
I've played with Martin as DM in 2 campaigns and multiple one-shots. He wants to help you enjoy the game & is great at considering all aspects - sound, visual, backstory, memorable NPCs, short&long term adventure story elements, as well as tailoring his creations so even after 2 years everything feels like a new experience. He's patient, encouraging and happy to explore your character's possibilities with you. I'd absolutely recommend!
I've been playing in Martin's Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign for about 6 months now, and it's been an amazing experience so far. Martin clearly puts a lot of time and effort into preparing for the game (from miniatures and maps to music and sounds), and combined with his excellent storytelling I feel fully immersed in the world every time we play. He also does a great job working with the players to bring elements of their backstory into the game, and encourages great roleplay with his full-of-life NPCs.
I've always been D&D curious. Martin was able to take me on a journey from absolute beginner into the amazing D&D multiverse with a long running campaign and a bunch of one-shots. It's fair to say that I'm absolutely hooked. The intensity of Martin's game play often leaves my hands trembling through adrenaline fuelled fights and dramatic twists and turns that you can't see coming. With a mix of classic battles and some gnarly problem solving, Martin has an ability to think on his feet and cope with the un-predictability of game play to keep players on their toes through characters that you get to know, love and hate (in a good way!). Martin is adaptable and can make your game work equally as well, remotely or in real life. Either way I feel totally immersed in the worlds that Martin creates and the time flies by just too quickly.
