I've played with Rocky for about 10 sessions and would've definitely stayed longer if my financial situation hadn't changed. If you have a character concept then you best believe you'll be able to pull it off with this DM's help. He's aware that these games are about an overall narrative where your character and their story are a key part of it. Highly recommend to anyone interested.

I get the tell and hear a story when I play dnd with Rocky. He and everyone at the table helped me learn the game, and he’s always gone the extra mile to have ambiance music, digital maps made, or physical ones printed. He even surprised us with our mini’s and updated them periodically! He puts time into his home game and I know he’d do the same for the online ones.

Rocky allows me to optimize a strong character and still give a challenge. He works with every story I write for my characters, and surprises me with how he uses it to form my characters quest lines. Everyone in our game always has “their arc” to feel like the main character while still getting a core story told. He runs the games I want to play, and I’m sure you’d want to play too.

This GM is all about player agency, creative problem solving and elaborate world building. Easy on the new players, willing to challenge the veterans and is willing to bend some rules to let players flex those elaborate backstories. Everyone gets to feel like the “main character” once in a while, whether it’s an incredible finishing move or a dramatic monologue. I highly recommend Rocky no matter your level of experience!

I’m from Rocky’s home weekly games and he’s been a great DM and player! He’s great at creating a world, you can tell how much time he’s out into it. He lets us shape the world, and then builds even more around that. When actually playing he does a wonderful describing what’s going on in the world and letting the us figure out what to do. I love all of the roleplay moments wether it’s random like small talk in a tavern or shop to whatever we’re doing on the quest or our personal story. I’ve got to see him grow as a dm these last few years and he keeps getting better. Thank you for taking on that role and letting us be players!

I’ve been playing with him as an in person DM for more than two years. Mostly dnd5e. Every game weekly session I could tell he put time into. From the sound ambiance, to digital maps and tokens/printed maps and creatures, to the world we explored and how he gave me and everyone else time to shine with our own story. I’m happy he’s doing this and you can’t go wrong with him as your DM. He truly cares.
