Hi I'm Kat! I've been playing TTRPGs (D&D mostly) for 15~ish years. I've also been professionally teaching people how to play D&D 5e for about 4 years now, and I've gotten a lot of good feedback! I'm all about helping new players get into the game since I understand it can be hard to jump in on your own, even with all of the resources out there. Aside from DnD, I'm a big fan of horror stuff (I love a good game of Dread) and an avid video gamer.

Probably playing video games! I love horror in particular, with a few of my favorites being Off, Omori, the Silent Hill series, and the Resident Evil series. I'm also a fan of JRPGs and I love the Persona franchise.

How Kat runs games

I would describe myself as a story-forward DM that's always ready to "yes and" a bit. I know the rules of 5e pretty well and usually try to stick to them, but I want my players to have fun first and foremost and am willing to let rules take a backseat in certain circumstances to accommodate that. I also want my players to be comfortable playing with me, and I'm a big advocate for using safety tools in my games and establishing boundaries to keep everyone safe.
