About me

I have been Gamemastering for nearly 20 years amongst friends and strangers. I decided to see if I could turn my passion for gaming into something that could help my family more directly. I've mastered games from Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition onward to 5th Edition, Pathfinder, World of Darkness, and my favorite, the Cypher System. I've written and run many campaigns within these systems, many lasting more than a year, and I am comfortable running one-shots or extended campaigns. I have a natural voice talent and creativity that lends itself well to any game. I have run games of historic fantasy, high fantasy, modern investigation, hard sci-fi, high sci-fi, post apocalyptic, and many more. Although I'm well-versed in the systems stated, I'm happy to take on new challenges. If you're looking for an enjoyable game, that places focus on the players, then look no further.

GM style

My style is very fun-forward. I believe that the "rule of cool" is paramount to an interesting and fun game. I'm a very "yes; and?" type of GM. I believe in facilitating player choice and agency, as well as allowing players to express themselves at the table. I love to create puzzles and fun characters to roleplay. I have voice training, so I bring a lot of energy and imitation to the game. I also enjoy putting together interesting and challenging combat scenarios for my players. I like to get the set pieces involved, and I tend to reward creative improvisation.
