About me
Heya! I'm Nathan and I have been playing TTRPG for over 10 years now and have been the resident GM for many of my friend groups. I am wholly invested in the characters that my players bring to the table and find my main goal in RPG's is fulfill my player's personal stories, making sure that everyone at the table gets a spotlight. I make sure my players are immersed in the world, with curated playlists and fully rendered maps that I make. If you wanna get to know more about me and how I am as a player, check out my podcast Maker's Misfits where I play with my childhood friends as we foolishly run a circus and try to make sense of hand we were dealt.
GM Style
I make sure there is something for everyone in a session. No matter the length of the session I always include: At least 1 battle and time for roleplaying. Colorful and fleshed out NPCs. Curated music playlists. Colorful and detailed maps. Engaging and quick paces combat. (Not every fight is simple) Improv and voice skills.

I loved being able to connect with folks and not have the pressure to be perfect in game playing because I have just been learning how to play. Nathan (GM) was supportive and attentive to all players needs and made it hella fun for everyone! I enjoyed all the different characters voices the GM did and how he could captivate us into this other magical world with music and setting the scene for each situation. He has an ability to manifest intriguing story lines for us to share good laughs and work together to move through our campaign. He has so much knowledge about Dungeon and Dragons and Pathfinder (the campaigns I’ve done with him), but I know he also specializes in Starfinder and Monster of the Week. He is great for campaigns played by beginners because he can really break it down to digest all the rules smoothly. We played with DND Beyond character sheets, used roll20 for playing and communicated over discord. The GM was great about reminding me of how to read my character sheet, being kind about explaining next steps in situations, and what dice to use when I would get confused. In our campaign we also had folks who had experience playing many campaigns already, and they also enjoyed having him as a DM because of all the knowledge and ways they were able to creatively develop their characters among the story line. I highly recommend Nathan as a DM for anyone who resonates with being part of an environment like this! Thank you!
Nathan is an amazing world builder, he works intentionally to incorporate and attuned to the players interests, personalities, expertise level, and energy. He ensures to be inclusive for all folks and has an inviting energy. Playing with Nathan as a first time player lessened my nerves and I found myself letting go and enjoying the game. Also, he is amazing at creating character voices, story telling, and making you feel part of the world!
I have played in so many of Nathan's games its hard to pick out specific areas of greatness. The guy does it all. He creates amazing story hooks for characters, he can ad lib with the best of them, his NPCs are useful and are likeable, his world building is next level. But most of all he will make you feel safe playing the game and creates an atmosphere to explore your creativity.
Nathan is a great GM. He gives enough player freedom where they feel included and like they are telling their own story. But he also knows how to weave a good narrative that the players will love to follow. There will always be laughs in one of his campaigns. He also taught me and my friends how to play several different systems so he is good with beginners. I would recommend him for all levels of players.
