About Ian Howard
I have been a GM for over 35 years. I have done it for friends, congoers, professionally at a teen center focused on tabletop gaming and as an educator for teens with social anxiety, autism, and PTSD. I have also done it on stream for Lvl1Geek. I have a very welcoming, supportive and inclusive table. I am especially gifted at bringing new players into the artform.

How Ian Howard runs games
My story style is very player focused and character driven. I want the players to feel they are shaping this cooperative story and have a real impact on where we go in our journey. I keep options open in all storylines to give the players a strong set of choices to let them move the story. I tend to run systems with a medium heavy crunch like 5ed DND or Part Time Gods 2ed to very light such as Fate Accelerated. I love roleplay and allowing players to explore social interactions between characters and NPCs. My voice ability is lacking but my character motivations, drives, desires and choices are strong and believable but always focused on the player characters as the stars.
