About Bruno
I've been playing RPGs since high-school, mainly on PC and consoles. My favorites were the obvious ones: Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Baldurs Gate 1 and 2. One thing I always wanted to get involved in though were TTRPGs, and during the 2020 pandemic, I finally took that time to find some people and learn how to play. My experience has mainly been as a DM, due to the fact that I never found the right group as a player, so I started making my own. My goal is to provide fun for everyone involved, along with keeping it a safe space. I have respect for rules as written, but I can be pretty easygoing at times if it works well with the situation at hand. Role-playing and having fun comes first!

How Bruno runs games
I am a firm believer in player agency. The story will be built around your characters actions, and how they shape the world around them. I specialize in the Planescape setting, which focuses more on the planes and the multiversal aspect than most other D&D settings. When travelling through the city of doors, anything can happen - you might run into a Mindflayer playing cards with a Slaad, accidentally stumble upon a seemingly normal wooden door that will whisk you away to the nine hells, or even compete in games with the Viking denizens of Glorium! The possibilities are endless! The games I will be running for start playing are mainly modules, but depending on what the players choose to do, there will always be possibilities for open world/sandbox style games. There will be a fair mix of roleplaying and combat, but that doesn't mean some combat situations cant be solved with smart thinking and good dice rolls!

I deal with rules issues by...
Talking it out with the group. If we all agree to a fair consensus, the game goes on. I want to keep the momentum going as much as possible.
Rules are...
Rules are what makes the game work, but aren't end all be all in my opinion. The rule of cool exists for a reason, and If something works and will be awesome, then it shouldn't be an issue. Just remember, if its something a character can do, then its something an NPC/Enemy can do as well!
When it comes to voices
Be prepared for terrible fake russian accents!
Bruno's ideal table
From new players, or veterans who could probably teach me a thing or three, everybody is welcome at my table! My games are 18+, so there will be mature content that might not be suitable for everyone, but I do my best to ensure everybody feels comfortable at my table at all times. I don't ever want people to keep their concerns to themselves, and instead I promote an atmosphere where you can approach me or the table and we can find a solution.

I think it's a red flag when players...
Forget that they are part of a group. I strongly discourage "main character syndrome".
I think metagaming...
has a time and place, but is otherwise game breaking.
My table is not the place for...
Hatred, bigotry, or negative rhetoric. These are not the types of games I run. We play TTRPG's for a little escapism and to have fun as a team.
