I always loved creating my own worlds and telling my own stories since I was but a young gobling. And my background in card games has given me an eye for mechanics as well. I can do adventure books, but I’ll always have more fun with something more customized. Been playing games on Roll20 for almost as long as there’s been Roll20, and I love trying weird and obscure systems.

GM Style

I have an adaptive and responsive approach that prepares for most approaches to a problem and improvises when unprepared. I’ll often dispense with maps when an evocative image of a location will suffice, and more than anything I prefer running adventures of my own design over modules and adventure books. I specialize in D&D 5e but I have books for a multitude of weird and wild systems, and I’m always willing to try new ones, as well as some of the more famous alternatives like Pathfinder and World of Darkness. It’s my instinct to have a voice for a character to distinguish from GM narration, and I don’t shy away from descriptions of scenes to put my players in their characters’ positions. Combats are by-the-book, but I will admit I like heroic last stands and meaningful deaths more than meat grinders. Horror and History are my specialty genres of game, and kick-in-the-door dungeon crawls are a fun aside as well. Above all else, I value communication with my players. I want to give my players a game they’ll have fun playing, and the best way they can do that is to tell me what they want to play.
