About me

I'm an experienced writer, narrator, and storyteller, but relatively new to D&D and TTRPGs as a whole. I want to use my sessions to hone my skills, develop compelling narratives, and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for others new to TTRPGs who are eager to learn while I continue to myself. Some additional information to help you decide if booking with me is right for you: -I have a professional background in creative writing. -I'm crafting a unique grim dark world for my players to explore, for campaign details, check my current session listings. -I do not use any AI generated narrative content, stat blocks, encounter tables, or other gameplay assets. AI image use is limited and serves only as a proxy. (I'd like to find an affordable artist to create custom assets for my campaign.) -I play primarily "rules as written", but I'm no rule lawyer and want my players to feel they have the agency to make choices and take actions freely. -I incorporate a handful of table rules to help newer players understand the nuance around spellcasting, spell components, and free actions in combat. -Role play is encouraged, but it is not mandatory. I have a background in narration and as a storyteller adjust my inflection to suit the situation, but I do not utilize character voices. My players are welcome to use voices/accents, as long as they are kept respectful. -As a way to encourage players to learn the core mechanics, I use D&D Beyond digital tools and Discord for my sessions, as they still require players to calculate and input net interactions into their character sheets. Users that prefer a VTT with more automated skill processing may want to consider booking sessions with a DM who utilizes those tools and services. -My games use the DnD5e 2024 Ruleset. I look forward to creating a safe and entertaining space for everyone to learn and grow as players!
