About me

Hi, I’m Sam! I’m a GM based out of Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve loved telling stories ever since I was a little kid, but never quite found the sweet spot for how I wanted to tell them. I experimented with theatre, writing, playwriting, and podcasting, but I found my home (later than some) in TTRPGs. I started GMing from the beginning of my time at the table. It was just before the hobby exploded in popularity, and even though I had some friends who were interested, the prospect of finding a GM seemed intimidating. So I decided that the easiest way to get involved was to do it myself, and jumped into a rabbit hole I’ve been falling down for eight years now. My table is always meant to feel welcoming and make everyone feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re inside or outside of their comfort zone. I want everyone to have the chance to experience the electricity that runs through a room when a paladin strikes down a sickening horror, a scoundrel pulls off their perfect crime, or a hero whispers goodbye to their dying mentor. If you’re interested in a game and haven’t had the chance to try it, feel free to DM me and ask about it! I’m always down to discuss trying new things. So come take a seat and help me tell an unforgettable tale! I look forward to having you, and seeing what we can make together.

GM Style

My games are usually very narratively-focused. I love doing character voices (and I’m not *too* bad at it), building rich stories and creating dense, vibrant worlds. I’ve never been much for heavily tactical systems, but I love being able to turn the mood from crying with laughter to crying with feelings. I’m also always down to experiment with new games!
