Fan of running a variety of games, from grand adventures to comedic scenarios. Started DM'ing over 4 years ago in-person and still going strong with online games. Experience running homebrew games, by-the-book games, one-shots, and longer-form campaigns. Leveraging prior musical & theater experience to try and make each NPC's voice different (so that they can be told apart) and gaming experience to make interesting combat encounters. Can run dungeon delves, region explorations, or roleplaying-focused stories. Quick Fun Facts About Me: Big fan of Critical Role and Dimension 20, have a PhD in Chemistry, used to do choir and musical theater in middle and high school, went to University of Pittsburgh and Columbia University, still DM'ing my original group that I started playing with in graduate school in the summer of 2018!

How Taylor Hochuli runs games
I prefer to find a mix between roleplaying, exploration, and combat when running a TTRPG game, but have run games (and am open to running games) focused on one aspect specifically. Often sessions will focus on one aspect more than the others simply due to time, but I try to work in at least a bit of all three. Since moving to DM'ing online due to the pandemic, I have had more experience running dungeon dives and combat focused encounters due to inherent limits in roleplaying via webcam (limited crosstalk, slower reactions or lag, etc.).
