About me

Been playing d&d for a bout 5 years, DM'ing for 4. I've run a handful of campaigns and lots of one shots. I have a very solid grasp of the rules (though not perfect) and tend to put a lot of effort into finding good maps, npc art, etc. I try to run games with a good balance of RP and combat. Everyone should have a good time, so I don't tolerate any OOC 'isms (race/sex/etc etc) or malicious/non-consensual PVP type actions.

GM Style

I'm great with maps/tactical combat. I mix in homebrew monsters to keep things fresh. I'd say I'm decent at voices and making unique npc's, although I am only okay at improvising dialogue on the spot.

Adam has been very welcoming and knowledgeable. As a newer DnD player I am always pretty anxious to mess up; but even when I don’t do things perfectly, he makes sure to explain how I can improve it for next time when I ask. He has also helped me develop my character and added some really cool flavor to our Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign. Lots of laughs, good stories for our characters, and well prepared game nights with lots of combat and room for role playing have made this very enjoyable for me and I am always excited for game night.

Adam is a great GM. He allows player choice and creativity to flourish in his games, further enhanced by his great world building ability. Combat is fair, lethal, and engaging. He is super patient, understanding, and puts in a clear amount of effort to crafting every single session. He has helped me become better at roleplaying as my character. He made me feel like I belonged in the session and was a valuable part of both the narrative and gameplay. I seriously cannot recommend him enough.

Takes time and effort to learn the PCs and incorporate their backstories into the setting in an engaging manner. Encounters aren't slapped together, are weighed appropriately to the party.

Adam ran a fun one-shot I got to play in that was a blast! The combat featured unique enemies and monsters that fit our character's skills well, and he kept things moving at an exciting pace. Excellent use of maps and other visual aids, not to mention a skill for describing the action that pulled me into the scene. I'd be excited to play a longer campaign with him running just to see how he handles characterization with NPCs and a bigger story.

I’ve known Adam for a couple of years now, he’s been playing in my professional game and I’ve played in one of his homebrew campaign. Terrific combats. Very fair and well balanced, I’d say this is his biggest point. The visuals are well chosen and he’s ready to invest to make your game even better than it should be. He creates interesting NPC’s and narratives that makes you care about their personality and lives. No great review could come without constructive criticism to let the players make their mind about him. His cinematic/grand story needs a but if EPICness but that’s about it. The story itself is great and well held together. I’d t highly recommend him, probably the one I’d do so from all the players I’ve known so far. Cheers, William
