I graduated Theatre and drama as a practitioner, actor, and writer, and have been engrossed in D&D for about 10 years. My beginnings were back in my local game store, as a monk wearing orange sweatpants, and ever since I've never looked back. Playing was never enough, I was drawn to DMing, my first game being in my house entirely on a giant scroll of paper, now my house is teeming with terrain, books, and miniatures. With 5 full 2-year campaigns, 1 Homebrew and 1 set in MTG's Innistrad but mostly homebrew, an Underdark homebew, a Wildmount irl homebrew game and a nearly completed Icewind Dale to 20, under my belt. I'm always looking for new adventurers to join me on our stories! I've some campaigns still on going. An Icewind Dale game, and a Wild beyond the Witchlight! My biggest Achievement is managing an upwards of 15 player mega campaign called Barside, a come and go adventure group which ran like many one shots that canonically linked together to fullfill a long written story. It's approaching it's end this summer but I can't understate how proud of the achievements made in that game! I've been running games entirely on roll20, but I'm also looking to expand my horizons to Talespire too! It's been my dream since I was young to act and share stories as a living, and 12 years of Improv, theatre, and writing training has led me to want to do this for a living. Instead I live stream a video of a physical tabletop with tokens instead. Whilst I do use some theatre of the mind there is a table top for the more tacticle groups. Since the various lockdowns playing face to face became difficult so I came here. I favour RP-heavy games with dynamic combat. In other words, unless the AC is really obscure and the goblin has a 20 dex I tend to tell my players the AC, after all when you see a 14 miss and a 15 hit the cat is out of the bag. By knowing the AC you know if you hit or miss and can describe what happens rather than I roll 15 you hit roll damage 6 points ok next person, you roll you know you hit you say I slash the goblin across the face for 6 points. Happy to DM groups from their first game to very advanced. I will be running a mix of new modules and some old classics with a little homebrew thrown in for good measure LBGTQ+ Friendly

Hi! I am a DM from Canada and I have DMed for many of my friends, and also met tons of amazing people DMing online. I've run for all sorts of players, from new to veterans, and people looking for serious games to more lighthearted games. My games are RAW, although we can discuss homebrew rules in session 0. and I am great at balancing RP and combat to the amount you want. The games are difficult, but they start off easy to wean you into the difficulty. Monsters will be played as intended, and death is a possibility. Combat can have RP elements in it and I love to reward creative thinking. My name's Aaron, hailing from the county of Lincolnshire, UK. I have played tabletop games for 11 years through family, friends and previous paid gigs for DMing. From D&D to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay or homebrew custom games I have experienced and run many instances of long-form campaigns, one-shot sessions and roleplay scenarios. I first discovered my capability as a DM, homebrewer and creative within the tabletop scene from a long-running campaign which started during my time in college, this one campaign has lasted almost 4 years (and counting) alongside multiple other campaigns with other scenarios, storylines and mechanics (using a host of homebrewed content like a set of Survival rules, a settlement building system, an attempt to fix martial-caster disparity in combat, and a lot of monsters, spells, feats, items, races, and subclasses. And that's without mentioning all of the third-party content).
