About me

Hello, hello! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I love my role as forever DM and I have been lucky to sit in the DM seat for over 20 years now. I have played D&D since 2nd edition along with other games like World of Darkness, Pathfinder and Starfinder. I have been lucky enough to write official scenarios for Pathfinder and Starfinder, and I love to share my love for the hobby with anyone, whether they are experienced players or completely new to the idea of role playing games. One of my greatest joys is to see people become immersed in the story, cheering at the party’s successes or working together to overcome pesky bad rolls and complications. I am a huge fan of my players and their characters, working closely with each player to make sure that everyone is having fun. I look forward to meeting new players and having fun together!

GM Style

I love all aspects of the game, although I must admit I have a personal preference for roleplaying-heavy campaigns. As a DM, I create interesting options for the characters to encounter, giving the players agency on how they wish to face a particular challenge: Will the charming rogue try to talk their way past the guardian of a forgotten temple? Or will the party decide to have the ranger scout ahead looking for a side passage? Combat should be meaningful, both in terms of what it accomplishes and on who participates in it. I try to think about why people or creatures would be fighting. A farmer guarding their land or family may fight to the bitter end even if they are hopelessly outmatched, but a mercenary company may decide to retreat to fight another day if casualties start to mount. I tend to follow the rules of each system and I included only very few minor house rules over time (which will be discussed before the game starts and used only if agreed upon). The important thing for me is to ensure that the people at the table are having fun telling a communal story. I encourage safe spaces where everyone can be themselves and I ask for people to be respectful and avoid friction with other players so that everyone can have fun.
