About Bastion
What up fellow writers! For me, I see DND as one of the best mediums for interactive collaborative storytelling within a group setting. I’ve been a published author since high school and love creating art through written and spoken language. Some of my interests include gaming, songwriting, and being a foodie. I read D&D source books and D&D lore for fun. And finally, I am an avid Critical Role & Dimension 20 fan. Currently I am building my own homebrew world. If you think we could create something awesome together, come and join in!

How Bastion runs games
If roleplay is the meat, combat is the seasoning, and a good puzzle is the dessert that ties everything together. With that being said, the only time I've ever been bored playing DND is when the DM holds the player's hand. When there is never a risk of dying or fear of failure - stagnancy abounds. Plot predictability is a silent killer. Most of my games are a lot less forgiving than most. If you don't want to worry about your character dying, this might not be the right version of the game for you. I'm not afraid to respectfully kill off a player character if the narrative is leading in that direction. Right now, I'm using Tale Spire for major combat encounters and Discord for voice/video. No, you don't have to own Tale Spire. I will provide a shared screen experience much like if we were playing on a tabletop.
