About me
D&D has become more than just a hobby over this past couple of years and I'd love to play more often than when my friend group is available. I'm in my early 20's and a lot of the books aren't cheap. Dming here for a small fee allows me to offer a larger collection of material to the players so they can focus on playing and not about all the books it can require. I have played in two full lvl 1 to 20 campaigns as a player and am currently dming my third homebrew campaign. I'm open to playing one shot campaigns, some of my own fully made homebrews, or any of the campaign books. Until I have a full group of players that want to play weekly I will be offering mainly one shots to give everyone a taste of my dming. I try to make my campaigns as immersive as possible and promote roleplaying and fun over the sometimes tedious rules. That being said I don't play with any house rules, but will overlook certain taxing rule moments that plague a lot of fun campaign moments. D&D is all about a fun escape to be whoever you want and to create a character that you can express yourself in. I don't have much experience playing with "evil" players in the party, but I'd love to try if that's what the group wants to do. I have been actively trying to grow my voice options for npc's and I'd guess even my poor attempts at accents are fun to hear. When it comes to combat I like to make that as descriptive and creative as I can and promote players to narrate what their characters are doing on their turns. I'm a really relaxed DM and I don't get in the way of the party's ideas and fun. I also really dislike railroading campaigns so you'll all have plenty of opportunities to take the campaign in crazy directions if you want. I mainly play on a virtual tabletop called Fantasy Grounds Unity. It is an amazing system that I have the ultimate edition of, which means players in my group don't have to buy a subscription to Fantasy Grounds in order to be in my campaigns. I currently have only played using the Pathfinder 1e ruleset, but I have already started to learn more about D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e and am willing to start playing on those as well.
