About me

I've been a journalist and writer for my entire professional career and Dungeon Master/Referee/GM for the past 25 years. During that time I have refereed well over 500 games. Players in my adventures experience everything from epic campaigns to action-filled one-shots all with one goal in mind -- that everyone has a great time. I'm able to create amazing stories with my players, whether they are action or role-playing oriented because of the time I take to prepare each individual session. With a serious love of steampunk, I currently referee an Eberron campaign on Roll20 using Discord for voice. As a player, you will receive plenty of game handouts and engage in combat on only the highest quality battle maps. I will also take time between games if you need help with your character or just wish to chat about upcoming adventures.

GM style

Players have described my games as Indiana Jones meets Game of Thrones. I enjoy refereeing for players who like to mix role play and action. I also believe that the players and DM work in tandem to create a great story while having a lot of fun. As a referee, know that I am always on the side of the players. When it comes to the rules, I generally run RAW. Of course, the Rule of Cool does come into play from time to time.
