About the adventure
On a quiet evening in a suburban neighborhood, a family leaves their home in your care for the evening. Armed with wits, teamwork, and the magic of a child's belief - you are the only thing protecting your home from those that mean to do it harm. Whatever you do remember this: YOU. ARE. A. TOY! ********** 🔶 In this homebrewed 5e one-shot inspired by films like "Toy Story" and "Home Alone," you play childhood toys compelled to protect a home and the magic that keeps them alive. Using traps, subterfuge, and creativity you must repel the home intruders before your family gets home! 🔷Create the family home! You and the other players will work together to create your family and their home life. Every game is different! 🔶 Imaginative design. Pick a toy and work with the GM to translate it into 5e. Example characters have included: 🧱 A pile of sentient Lego bricks (changeling rogue) 🧸 A long forgotten Beanie Baby (shadow monk) 🍴 Snack Time Cabbage Patch Kid (a nightmare that haunts my dreams) 🔷 Battle against the humans, the strange, and common household pests!

How will character creation work
Characters will be 3rd level and can be created from any officially released 5e sourcebook. However, as this is a high-concept game, players should work with the GM to make sure that the concept fits the game. Stats are point buy with a free +2 bonus to any one ability, you are free to use my D&D Beyond material (I have *most* official class content unlocked). If you need any assistance with creating a character, I'll be happy to assist!
