Wrath of Apophis: A Desert Odyssey

About the adventure

Far away, locked in their own demi-plane of existence where technology and magic lived in harmony, the Pharonian Gods reside. With their own lands to rule over and manipulate to their wills, the Pharonian Gods kept to themselves, contained to their demi-plane and far away from the material plane. What they had not expected, was for the overthrowing of most of their pantheon by a single God of Chaos: Set. Set has now begun to tear the demi-plane apart, leaking the sands of time and the putrid deathly air of the catacombs of old into the material plane, and he must be stopped before the Pharonian Gods' powers are consumed by Set and unleashed upon the material plane.

How to prepare

You will need a decent microphone, no camera is REQUIRED but encouraged, as I will be streaming this to twitch! Any player who also wishes to stream this can do so! I prefer digital dice, but if you have a particular physical set you may use it as long as it does not become an issue. Any art you use for your character must have a link to the credit unless drawn yourself.

What I provide

I will likely commission a full party art piece at the half way mark of the campaign, and i will be providing music and an immersive game hand written entirely.

Gameplay details

Any serious triggers told to me by players will be absolutely avoided 100% with no questions asked. This game is meant to be fun and engaging, even with dark topics. We all love a little angst, but if at any time the gameplay affects the real life mental safety, breaks will be taken and changes will be made. Player safety & health (mental and physical) comes before dnd every time.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen over discord once you are accepted into the game and once you have read all the rules and understand what you are getting into.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
