About the adventure

Can't wait for much anticipated Dune movie? Want to immerse yourself in the fascinating Duneverse? Looking for a break from your D&D routine? Brave the dangers of desert planet Arrakis in this short introductory adventure! No spoilers for the the book or movie and no knowledge of the rules or the setting needed, everything will be explained at the table. As House Atreides makes haste to take over the planet Arrakis, a group of trusted agents is sent to a suspected smuggler base. But nothing is as it seems and there is more to be afraid of than unforgiving desert and deadly sand worms. Sometimes the difference between trusted ally and mortal enemy rests on a knife-edge.

How to prepare

You need at least a mediocre computer with decent internet connection, Chrome or chromium-based (Edge, Brave, ...) browser, mic and a discord account. Webcam is strongly recommended and appreciated.

What I provide

Besides of the rulebooks I'm bringing Forge-hosted Foundry VTT, tokens and all the props needed to have a great time.

Gameplay details

The game uses X-card safety tool. Violence, dying in the desert and being devoured by a giant sandworm are all too real possibilities. Expect both action and social encounters.

How will character creation work

Host of characters will be prepared and you get to choose which one you want to play. We are going to go through the entries on the character sheet then so you have a clue what are their strengths and weaknesses.
