How to prepare

Reliable internet and a mic are essential. Ideally players have webcams. Familiarity with 5e and Roll20 is nice, but not necessary.

What I provide

Gameplay details

✅ Ability Point Buy ✅ Free level 1 feat ✅ Unusual lineages of the Feywild, including Fauns, Dryads, Eladrin, Boglins, Grung, or Pixies. "Fauns" is a catch-all term for all part animal people, and so could mechanically be played as Tabaxi, Aarakocra, Centaur, Lizardfolk, Tortle, Harengon, Yuanti, etc. There are also star-skinned folk, Celestials, which use the mechanics of Astral Elves. I want everyone to be comfortable at all times, so in session 0 we will discuss what we don't want to even be alluded to (lines) or what might happen "off screen" but might be discussed (veils). Some elements such as violence are fairly core to Dungeons and Dragons as a game, but most other topics in the content warning above are not core to the game or story, and so can be avoided if they are triggering. For example, sexual violence is a veil for me, so it won't ever happen on screen. If it is a line for anyone then it won't be in the story at all, and if not then it might be in character backstories but won't happen in front of the characters.

How will character creation work

We will begin at level 2, and the first couple levels will pass quickly. Will will choose ability scores with a point buy system. We will create characters during session zero. You all have the option to interweave the backstories of your character, and can discuss class choices for a balanced party. I'll have break-out sessions with each person to give the opportunity for secrets, as well as to answer any questions.
