Wizard War: an ongoing military fantasy campaign / Inspired by The Black Company

About the adventure

The setting is a senseless war among wizards, mages, warlocks and witches with common folk caught in the middle. This is an ongoing campaign but newcomers are welcome. We will make characters (unless you are bringing a character from a previous game) and play through a mission. The players then decide what they will report to their superiors, thus deciding what the next mission will be.

How to prepare

Webcam and mic will be necessary. Creating characters beforehand is great but not necessary. We will use your own dice at the table and you will have access to your character via a character keeper on Google Sheets, though players are welcome to print out characters if they prefer. No system mastery is necessary.

What I provide

I will bring an adventure and an eagerness to see where we'll end up when your imaginations collide with the otherworldly shenanigans at hand. I do not have a pat ending in mind and I am not steering you towards some inevitable drama that I've invented. I am putting problems in front of your characters and taking glee in how your imaginations deal with them.

Players can expect to get playing quickly in a fast paced game where playing to find out, outside the box thinking and creative problem solving rule the day.

How will character creation work

Starting characters, we will make characters quickly unless players take up the option to make characters before play. Either way is fine and character creation is fast and easy.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
