About the adventure

Dive into one of the realm's finest breweries and help a locally beloved business restart its latest endeavor into ever-nuanced, hoppy delights. A seemingly mundane evil appears to be menacing this provider of pilsner and it is up to you and your party to eliminate all threats to production before the business suffers from these unwanted "pests." I welcome players of ALL SKILL LEVELS from brand new/never played, to returning players from days of AD&D, to veterans of 5e who wish to enjoy a low-key campaign while helping to get new individuals interested and excited about our fantastic hobby. Please don't let unfamiliarity with the D&D, DISCORD, OR ABOVE VTT dissuade you. I'll help you get up to speed with everything so you're well-equipped to roleplay and have fun from your first session.

How to prepare

For this game, you will need AT LEAST a quality microphone/phone to join a voice chat in Discord. If you aren't sure whether your setup is applicable, message me and we can do a test to find out. If you are BRAND NEW to d&d or desire extra education built into session 0 or before, message me and we'll work it out. You'll need a free Discord account, free install of the Above VTT plugin, and a free dndbeyond.com account. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to signing up or session 0.

What I provide

I'll have several publications through DnDbeyond as well as battle maps, atmospheric music, audio/visual tech, and unique and dynamic non-player characters to give you an immersive and memorable experience. You are welcome to use dndbeyond, the discord dice bot, or your own physical dice to roll.

Gameplay details

I ask that everyone that signs up for these sessions to be 99.9% sure they can make all 3 sessions for their full duration without interruption or cancellation. This is the biggest saboteur of tabletop RPG groups. It's especially important since others are paying and we're only asking for 3 sessions of dedication. It's imperative you sign up only if you know you can make it to all sessions. You will be charged if you do not cancel within 24 hours of a session and miss it. Our session 0 will allow each player to express any lines or veils they have (or before/after session 0). If an in-game subject is a taboo, you will be entitled to pause the game at any time and we will divert the direction we were going and go another way.

How will character creation work

Character creation will go as follows: All characters will be level 3. If you'd prefer I can provide you with a pre-made character. It would be ideal to come in with a barebones idea of a character if you'd like to make your own, but I'm happy to help you create from the beginning. Any officially sanctioned class or race from WOTC is free reign, although I might not have every resource available on DNDBEYOND. We will use D&D Beyond for creation and keeping track of the campaign and your character info.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
