About the adventure
Join the ranks of the undead in this fun game inspired by the "What We Do in the Shadows" mockumentary horror series that follows four vampire roommates. This darkly humorous one-shot takes place in a Tucson, Arizona one year after you became a vampire. We'll make our characters together in-game, but feel free to bring amusing concepts. Don't worry about the FATE rules! All you really need is Discord and a sense of humor. WWDITS art by Taylor Griffiths

How will character creation work
PART ONE: ASPECTS Establish your CONCEPT such as “unfunny comedian” or “grumpy old woman.” Identify a TROUBLE particular to you such as “nervous stutter” or “wanted by werewolves.” You will eventually describe an additional THREE ASPECTS of your character such as “born in Romania” or “in love with a witch” or “fussy blood drinker” but you can do this later. Your concept, your trouble, and three additional aspects are more than plot points. You'll be able to use them in-game to get mechanical advantages. PART TWO: ABILITIES There are SEVEN ABILITIES. The first letter of each ability spells the acronym SPECIAL. Strength athletics, brawn, muscle Perception detection, intuition, senses Endurance stamina, toughness, willpower Charisma appearance, charm, personality Intelligence education, reason, knowledge Agility acrobatics, dexterity, nimbleness Luck fate, fortune, karma Chose SIX ABILITIES and rank them +6, +5, +4, +3, +2, and +1. You'll use these bonuses later when you make dice rolls to accomplish various tasks. PART THREE: STUNTS You'll start the game with ONE STUNT agreed upon by you and the gamemaster. You'll get an additional stunt after your first and second sessions, for a total of three. Stunts commonly follow the pattern of “+2 to seduction-based Personality rolls” or “+2 to Reason rolls having to to with History” or “+2 to Combat with swords.” Look at the FATE rules for more examples of Stunts to model yours after. THAT'S ALL! Since the process is so simple, it's fun to make PC's collaboratively in-game, but feel free to get a head start on the process if you choose.
