About the adventure

A mysterious train derailment is the latest in a series of misfortunes associated with the Lorn, a tunnel with a reputation for misfortune. This is no ordinary accident. In an alternate 1900s version of Appalachia, beings of unknowable darkness stalk the forests, the hollers, and the deep darkness in the roots of the mountains where blood, sweat, and tears are sacrificed for coal and paths of iron. What if all that digging woke something up in the darkness? And just who are those railroad men anyway.
