About the adventure

It's spring break, and you and your friends have found a vacation to die for! It's The Hereafter Hotel, an all inclusive bed and breakfast on its own secluded island. A small boat and a quiet captain take you across the bay to find a house tucked away between the palm trees. It's old, but it has all the amenities you want all to yourself - music, games, hammocks, and drinks in coconuts. It seems like a dream vacation come true...until the sun goes down, and weird, deadly things start to happen. The house wants something from you, and the only way to survive will be to solve its puzzles. Can you stay alive until dawn? This horror comedy is a stand alone story created by Redgate and Wolf, and is based on the Monster of the Week system by Evil Hat.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need to join a Discord group where the game will be discussed beforehand. They will also need a working mic and a Forge account. Everything else will be taken care of by Forge/Foundry.

What I provide

I provide the game platform(Forge/Foundry) for play, character sheets, music, and maps/atmosphere. All you need is a stable internet and the fortitude to survive the night.

Gameplay details

Players will take on the roll of adults trying to survive a night on a secluded island, with ghosts, alligators, fire ants, and more trying to take a bite out of them. Although the general mood of the game will be more horror comedy, there is still the possibility of violence, blood, death, spooky supernatural moments, and other uncomfortable situations.

How will character creation work

As this is a learn to play one shot, players don't need to be familiar with MoTW(Monster of the Week). I will provide some completed character sheets if players wish to use them, or characters can be made ahead of time together if you're familiar with the system.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
