About the adventure

Where did all of the humans go? What are all of these things? Were we not good enough boys and girls? It seems the deeper we go into these lands the more that we discover, but the unenlightened animals seem to be protecting something, the Unseen seem to horde all information. However, we are good boys and girls and it is our duty to find out about humans. Where did all of the humans go? How can we use all of these things? Did we banish the humans? The deeper we go into these lands the more we find about ourselves, unenlightened animals think they can stop us, the Unseen seem to be unwilling to bend to our will. However, we should find all the secrets of the humans to have our servants back. Pugmire is about playing uplifted or enlightened dogs that have created a civilization after the fall of man. It is not known why or how, but the good boys and girl want to find out why, though there are some that want to stay in town and just live there normal lives. Pugmire is a beautiful game that takes aspects of Dungeons and Dragons and puts it through the idea of playing as a dog. The realm of Pugmire is what most would consider a normal fantasy time period, but there are somethings that are from our time that would be seen as magic like a the wand of distraction, laser pointer. So come enjoy a fun and odd post apocalypse fantasy game that is always active.

How to prepare

The only preparation a player will need to do is have discord installed, be ready to play, and have a basic character idea. The character does not have to be created or fully developed it can be something as simple as a priest or hunter that has only known the beauty of the wilds or a thief that only steals from the rich and gives to the poor.

I will bring the rulebook, have a story prepared for them, along with a discord server that is fully devoted to the game so as to never break immersion when in game channels

Gameplay details

This game is a play by post game and considered to be active "24/7." Players can interact with one another at anytime on the server provided. Pugmire is another game that uses the rules from the game we all know, Dungeons and Dragons. However, it is different as it is a world that is ran be enlightened animals. It follows most of the same aesthetics and designs, but with the world being a post-apocalypse and trying to find out what it means to be a good boy or girl is makes this game different but known. A game will be centered around exploring the world and adventuring. Safety Tools: I use two major safety tools, X card and lines and veils, with weekly check ins. The X card can be used at any point if a participant is uncomfortable with the content happening in-game. When the X card is used by tapping the card or typing an “X” in the chat, the group can change, rewind, or skip the content. Lines: are subjects that are never brought up or into the game, any player may add to the list. The current lines are: Sexual Assault of any kind. Veils: are subjects that are alluded to but never directly brought up or into the game, any player may add to this list as well. The current veils are: domestic abuse. Weekly Check Ins: is where I ask the group before each game if there is any Lines or Veils that the players would like to add to the list whether on a permanent basis or temporarily considering life happens and we are not fully active in each other's life.

How will character creation work

All characters will be level one and will be made along with me if they desire or if they wish to do a character on their own that is perfectly fine. Though it will be limited to just the core rulebook.
