About the adventure

This setting is made to be a whacky horror world. If you are familiar with killer clowns from outer space this setting has listed it as one of it's inspirations. One can expect a dark but humorous atmosphere with more leaning on the humor for this particular one shot as it takes place in the opening area of The Revelia. The Revelia is a interdimensional traveling circus led by a cosmic entity known as Heckna. With large colorful tents, traveling bands of clowns, and amusement park rides Everything about The Revelia's looks are made to on the surface deceive one into thinking this is simply a traveling circus with maybe a few weird clowns here and there but the colorful veneer quickly falls off as there is nothing funnier to Heckna than this bait-and-switch tactic. That said Heckna is still a jokester at heart and is motivated by a desire to make others laugh even if it's force. This particular session will be for Level 7 characters and largely roleplay focused with some exploration, and light (avoidable) combat. The players will have the chance to try their hand at a few (lightly twisted) carnival games before trying out some of the twisted circus's rides and in the end helping an inventor dream up a new one! atop the normal tools I personally also utilize a safety tool to ensure all players who come to the table can still remain comfortable while exploring the dimly lit fairgrounds of The Revelia. If at any point a player says or sends the word 'parachute' the description of the current scene will stop and we will move on no questions asked.

How to prepare

A mic, access to the internet, a discord account, and a created character will be needed

What I provide

I will bring a dicebot so that anyone who does not have dice may use it to do their rolls. I will also have a music bot for atmosphere but can turn it off if it's too distracting.

Gameplay details

The game will be using the consent checklist by the ttrpg safety toolkit as well as a parachute safeword. It will be a rules light experience. For Themes one can expect heavy circus themes, clowns, undead, and moving dolls.

How will character creation work

Characters will be level 7, I'd prefer if players had their characters made before the game but if they need help i will be available up to an hour before the game and various days before to help create their character please use standard array for stats, you may choose one uncommon or 2 common magic items to start with.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
