    About the adventure

    The sequel to Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! New players are welcomed to join up with the ongoing campaign with regular players. The focus of the game is to have fun, and any style of roleplay you feel comfortable with is encouraged! Two gamemasters are running this campaign in order to better assist all the players. Starting in Waterdeep, many adventurers are interested in exploring the portal found in The Yawning Portal. Perhaps you are entering to gain favor with one of the factions found in the city. Perhaps you just want to get wealthy or gain knowledge. Many realize that there are treasures and artifacts, but what else lies in the Undermoutain of Waterdeep? This game is open to all types of players. If you are new to roleplaying, the gamemasters will help you along. If you're experienced, our style is heavily player driven and an emphasis on storytelling. We want all to have a great time.

    How to prepare

    Please have a microphone or cellphone where you can access Discord. You will need a Roll20 account as well. Character sheets and dice are part of the Roll20 platform. No downloads are required for this platform.

    What I provide

    Gamemasters will have the adventure set up online. Character sheets and dice are all set on Roll20.

    Gameplay details

    Most players in this campaign want to plan and not just charge into a situation. Many people talk in character, but most planning is done with an "above game" voice. The game starts at 5th level and will move over time into 20th. Depending on where the story is at will depend on what level the characters are at. The Wednesday night games will have co-gamemasters involved. If you wish to book privately, you will get 1 gm.

    How will character creation work

    Character creation happens before the game. 4d6, drop the lowest result for abilities. Roll 2 sets, choose the set you want. Characters are developed on D&D Beyond with a campaign set up there for the players. Players will have access to the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Xanathor's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. If you prefer, characters can also get created for you. Just let us know what class and race you want to play and we'll take it from there!
