Waterdeep Dragon Heist

About the adventure

Welcome to the Forgotten Realms, and welcome to the City of Splendor. The published adventure, "Waterdeep Dragon Heist", run RAW with a few DM embellishments (in the spirit of RAW and the Forgotten Realms lore.) Players go from levels 1 to 5, great for beginners or experienced players. Explore the city of Waterdeep and maybe get into a few fights! 18+, there may be adult content, so you are expected to behave as such.

How to prepare

Mic, Owlbear Rodeo and Discord needed at the minimum, video is encouraged. Owlbear provides dice, but no character sheet. Players may opt to use DnD beyond but the DM uses pencil and paper almost exclusively. All dice rolls are done in the open.

What I provide

Immersive theater of the mind with digital maps and supplemental pictures/documents.

Gameplay details

RAW but I have a good familiarity with the rules and wouldn't have them slow down the fun. Any player homebrew requires approval from DM. 30% or 40% combat, the rest is exploration and role play.

How will character creation work

Any officially published content is allowed. Any UA or homebrew needs to be cleared first by the DM. Players create during session 0. Backstory is encouraged so that I might be able to weave characters into the existing story.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
