Waterdeep: Dragon Heist

About the adventure

Gold. An enormous amount of gold. So much gold that an entire lifetime wouldn't be enough to spend it all. This is what the players are after in this high octane adventure- but of course, a pile of gold that would put a dragon hoard to shame cannot help but attract many greedy eyes. Waterdeep, the Jewel of the Sword Coast, the City of Wonders, is full of intrigues and scheming villains, who are all racing to this fabulous (and fabled!) hoard of gold. Who will win the race? This is the published module "Waterdeep: Dragon Heist", that sets the players on the trail of a fabulous treasure. The beauty of this module is that can be played a few times over, because there are different paths that can be taken depending on the season, so if you have played it already a couple of times, don't worry! it can still be interesting and new.

How to prepare

you will need: - a discord and roll20 account; - a microphone (a webcam is optional, not wanting to show your face on the internet is perfectly valid!) - know at least the basic mechanics of your character and of combat, and know what your spells do!

What I provide

I will bring the module and the official maps, and I will make you tokens with heroforge! Also, I will help you create your character if you are completely inexperienced.

Gameplay details

I like to encourage roleplay, but I also want to keep a good balance between the three pillars of the game (exploration, combat and roleplay). I have no problems to adapt the module to the ideas and the needs of the players in order to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone!

How will character creation work

The character creation will happen on roll20, with the standard array for stats [15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8]. I prefer this way to avoid wildly unbalanced stats within the party. Nobody has fun when one character has god like stats and another has unusable stats! you'll start at 1st level. All published material is legit (I don't have access to tasha's yet tho), UA has to be approved by me, and homebrew is not allowed. If you don't have any experience, I can help you create your character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
