About the adventure

A star has fallen from the Astral Plane, streaking westward over the Great Sea! Factions and nations of all kinds vie to find the star's trail - as the legends say that a Fallen Star shall grant a Wish to whomever can recover it! What would you do - what would anyone do - to obtain their greatest desire? Would you sail to the ends of the earth - and beyond? Would you climb to the greatest heights and brave the darkest depths of the Material Plane? Would you parlay with the Red Dragon Empress to pass her territory, or willingly leave paradise? Led only by hope - and the turmoil left in the Star's wake - see how far you would go to forge your destiny! Brave the high seas with your intrepid crew - both to claim the Wish that lies beyond the horizon, and to foil those seeking the Star's magic for their own power plays. Swashbuckling adventure meets epic exploration in my heavily adapted version of this grand campaign arc! Levels 1-10+ / Learn to Play / Beginner Friendly / 13-part campaign arc, overflowing with custom content: character options, monsters, items, and so much more! I worked as part of the production team at Dungeon in a Box for this campaign: editor, writer, monster-mancer, and lore developer. I've also poured a TON of hours into creating custom content for this campaign, expanding and improving upon the basic material. This is not just another pre-written module, but a labor of GM love to make this campaign arc even more epic and unforgettable!

How will character creation work

Let's take advantage of Roll20's macros - both for fairness and speed of play! We'll input your character sheet into Roll20, so all your character's information will be conveniently stored in one place and easily manageable. Session 0 will primarily be used for character creation and forming the initial group dynamics. 1) Players who new to D&D 5e the game will either choose from a set of premade Level 1 characters - some using custom options, and many created specifically for this campaign/setting! Or, create their own character under GM supervision. 2) Experienced players may build their own Level 1 character before/outside of Session 0. -Please be sure to review the Character Creation Guidelines provided in the GDrive folder. Note that non-SRD content (mostly class features and spells) will have to be input manually. The Character Creation Guidelines in my Google Drive has the complete guidelines, but the basics are: Ability Score Array (15, 14, 14, 12, 10, 8). Standard equipment for your Class; 1 consumable Common magic item (e.g. potion of healing, 1st-level spell scroll) **Subject to restriction in Character Creation Guidelines.
