About the adventure

Three families vie for control of the City on the Mountain. Blood on the streets. Whispers in dark passageways. Plans hatched in marble majlis. Murder and theft are nothing more than moves in the Great Game. The common folk do their best to survive. Will you be their champion? Or fall off the mountain, another victim of the scheming from the precipice? Vault of the Peerless Prism is a Swords and Sorcery campaign using DnD 5th Edition ruleset, with heavy themes of seedy politics, Machiavellian social maneuvering, and cutthroat thievery. Combat is rare but lethal. The politics are less rare, but no less dangerous. Morality is grey and no choices come without cost. Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need an account on DnD Beyond along with the Chrome extension AboveVTT. In addition, you'll need a Discord account and a microphone. Webcams are optional but heavily encouraged. All of these (excepting the microphone) are completely free and no paid content is required. All character options and sourcebooks are available and provided once you have access to the campaign.

What I provide

I will provide every DnD sourcebook printed in Fifth Edition, including access to all character options that are official in game. Game sessions will include pre-built battlemaps and visuals and discord integrated background soundtracks. If any player has a character concept or idea that is not compatible with 5e, I am happy to work with you to build a homebrew option that is balanced and conceptually consistent.

Gameplay details

Gameplay will be heavily roleplay focused, with thrilling heists, assassinations, and political missions. Combat will most likely be infrequent but the consequences will always be severe for either victory or defeat. Session 0 will cover the rules of engagement as well as lines and veils. Essentially, in case you're not familiar with the terms, we'll lay down the expectations for what will and won't happen in the game.

How will character creation work

Players begin with characters at first level. Any ancestry choice from the Player's Handbook is acceptable and there are no restrictions on class or subclass, including Critical Role content. Homebrew content is possible, and if you have a solid idea for a character that you'd like to play out we can work together to create something that will fulfill your vision. Stats will be rolled during session 0, and each character will start with a free first level feat based upon character backstory.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
