How to prepare

Please create your characters ahead of time. I will be available during the day to answer questions within Discord. We will be using Foundry VTT and Discord for Voice. (which are both FREE to use as players) You will need a mic to voice chat within Discord. (Webcam is preferred but optional) Foundry has the following MINIMUM requirements: - Relatively modern computer running Windows 10, macOS Catalina (or newer), or Linux operating systems, with support for 64-bit architecture. - An integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration. - 8GB of RAM - A monitor no smaller than 1366x768. At this minimum resolution, many aspects of the UI will feel cramped. - A modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with hardware acceleration enabled. (Safari is not a supported browser at this time). Foundry RECOMMENDED Specifications: - Relatively modern computer running Windows 10, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems with support for 64-bit architecture. - A dedicated GPU which supports WebGL 2.0. - 16GB of RAM - A monitor with 1920x1080 or higher resolution. - A mouse. What I provide

I own every sourcebook on DnDBeyond and will share content with you before and during the session. I own and run a licensed copy of Foundry VTT; hosted on the AWS platform with a dedicated IP address.

Gameplay details

You can expect a medium-paced game with a 15 min break after approximately 2 hours of gameplay. Content is considered family-friendly with some violence and gore. For safety concerns, X, N, and O cards are check-in tools. The X card can be used at any point if a participant is uncomfortable with the content happening in-game. When the X card is used by typing an “X” in the chat, the group can change, rewind, or skip the content. The N card can be used at any point if a participant feels like they are headed towards an X. When the N card is used by typing an “N” in the chat, the group can change the content or have the scene “fade to black.” The O card can be used at any point if a participant wants to continue with the content. When the O card is used by typing an “O” in the chat, the group is ok to continue with the content. They can also regularly be prompted by an “O?” asked out loud or in the chat to check in if everyone is still ok.
