    About the adventure

Rise of the Runelords tweaked, modified, and updated for Dungeons and Dragons 5e. An epic fantasy adventure spanning a continent as the players strive to stop the onslaught of forces they don't understand. An absolute blast. -Consent Sheets -Player backstory involvement -Meaningful RP -Brutal combat -Custom homebrew Player screening required. This is a safe space and problematic attitudes are not tolerated. I work with every player to come up with homebrew content to make their character feel as unique and special as possible. Weapons, class features, new spells, new races, entirely new classes even, are all things I am comfortable with designing after almost 20 years of running games.

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

Come to Session Zero having read up on the country of Varisia in the Pathfinder campaign setting, and having an idea of what you want for backstory. You can come with as much or as little backstory as you want, but the more open you are to modifying it, the easier it is to get the party on the same page to begin with. If there is content such as races or classes you want brought over to the game for 5e, I will work with you to make it happen.

    What I provide

The session will be conducted entirely virtually, so unfortunately I cannot reach through your screen and give you shiny new math rocks.

    Gameplay details

Players can expect a rules as intended experience. Rules are modified to maintain internal consistency. Homebrew options always available, requests open. Combat will be challenging, but you adjusted for the skill level of the group. RP will be meaningful, sometimes heavy, always present.
