About the adventure

DDIA06-SUNLESSCITADEL For all you Adventurer's League Folks! This Adventure is for 4-6 Level 1 Characters. This is my spin on "The Sunless Citadel" revived for "Tales of the Yawning Portal" The Sunless Citadel, written by Bruce R. Cordell, was the first published adventure for the third edition of the D&D game. It is designed for a party of four or five 1st-level player characters. You, a party of characters with eclectic backgrounds have been hired to retrieve a very special Apple from a tree by a Mercenary group named only known as "Unchancy expeditions". You've been given enough instructions to get you to the town of Oakhurst and look for the contact the assignment scroll mentions. You need the gold and the glory! After all, how hard can it actually be to pick one apple?!?!

How to prepare

We use Roll20 for a tabletop platform, and Discord for chat. Microphone is needed. I can help you create characters in Roll20 OR you can create a character in the Dndbeyond.com link I provide with the adventure. (Hint: There are more options provided by my Dndbeyond character creation.)

What I provide

All rolling is done digitally. Virtual or real dice are acceptable!

Gameplay details

The typical session involves roleplay, storytelling and social interactions. There will be exploration battles with Monsters and Humanoids. WARNING: I do my best to provide a safe environment where all are welcome. The adventures I run are generally G to PG in nature. The environment is one of mutual respect. There will be no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, or salacious activity or speech tolerated. No spamming or promotion. No NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, links featuring nudity, sex, hard violence, or other graphic content of a disturbing nature. I reserve the right to remove anyone who creates an unsafe environment for myself or other players.

How will character creation work

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
