Tyranny of Dragons Session 0

About the adventure

Something is affoot in Faerûn. A mysterious cult has begun seizing power and valuables from towns and cities alike for unknown reasons. Are you willing to fight back and put a stop to whatever is happening? While this system does call for high amounts of combat and player tactics I will always make time for roleplay at my table. This will not be a dungeon of the week style game. I plan to run both Hoard of the Dragon Queen and The Rise of Tiamat modules with slight twists to the overall stories. I will run a free session zero, after that all sessions will be pay to play.

How to prepare

Discord and a mic are required. If you do not have physical dice dndbeyond has a dice roller built into the character sheets. I will be using a cloud hosted FoundryVTT server to run the game, invite links will be sent out via discord. I am new player friendly and make space for everyone at my table, knowledge of the rules is not required.

What I provide

All officially released content on dndbeyond and an extensive homebrew collection, access to all available races and classes through campaign sharing on dndbeyond.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a rules light, high fantasy experience.Session Zero will include discussion of safety tools and triggers. They can be discussed and should be discussed in a mature respectful manor. Your reasons for wishing to have something excludes are not required. We do not require you to justify your triggers, only to let us know what to avoid.

How will character creation work

All players at session zero will start at level one. If a player joins after that point they will be brought in at the same level as the rest of the party. Characters will be created on dndbeyond.com and when a player joins the campaign Iwill send them an invite link to a campaign on dndbeyond.com through discord. Characters can be created during a game session or before hand.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
