About the adventure

"Deep in the jungles of Sumatra there lies a mysterious and foreboding ruin, one known to be dedicated to a strange deity of ancient origin. Through the misty depths of the wilderness comes a band of daring and exceptional heroes, members of the exclusive Aeon Society, and it is they who dare to plumb the depths of this eerie crypt. They are not alone in their search, however, as agents of a nefarious conspiracy are also in the jungle, threatening to reach the heart of the Moon-God's tomb before our brave expedition and exploit its secrets for their own gain!" This is a Trinity Continuum: Adventure one-shot! I am using the rules preview provided to Kickstarter backers and will offer five pregen PCs for players to select from.

How to prepare

Players should have the following: a Rol20 account, Discord app, and a working microphone or headset (ideally). Webcam use is entirely optional at the players' discretion. I strongly advise that you TEST Roll20 and Discord on your own before game time to help us smooth out technical issues - they are pretty inevitable but if each player does a little work on their own it can help us focus on the game and not on the internet/hardware problems.

I'll be providing images and music on the Roll20 table. Die rolls etc. will be handled through the handy dandy Roll20 table!

Gameplay details

This game makes use of the TTRPG Safety Toolkit, available here if you want to check it out: bit.ly/ttrpgsafetytoolkit In essence the Toolkit is intended to keep groups on the same page regarding safety, comfort levels, and subject matter that is or is not okay in a TTRPG. For this game the tone is intended to be "PG", no more violent or gory than the Indiana Jones or Mummy films. Romance is viable but sex is a "fade to black" situation, and we'll be using the social outlook provided by the Trinity Continuum rules - acknowledging the injustices of the 1930's and not reinforcing the gross stereotypes often associated with the pulp adventure genre. No racist caricatures, no misogyny, no homophobia, but the same spirit of fun adventure!

How will character creation work

I'll be providing 5 potential characters for the one-shot, so players will not be asked to create their own. Access to the Trinity Continuum Core Rules or Adventure! Rules is not necessary.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
