Thirteenth Night: A Shakespearean Comedy Campaign
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on D&D Beyond, Roll20

About the adventure
"When shall we three meet again? In the chapel, grove, or beach? Once the summer finds its end. Once the lovers’ threads extend. When the marriage bells have rung. When the story’s just begun." There is to be a wedding on the Summer Isles, as there always is at the end of a good Shakespearean comedy. Three couples will end their stories here, but yours will only just begin. Because what happens when one half of one couple gets kidnapped at the altar before the marriage vows can be made? When the story goes off-script, what will be done to make it right? Adventure across a land where all of Shakespeare's comedies find a home. Warlocks make pacts with witches three to prophesize their future. Bards consort with Titania and Oberon, crafting tales of love. Drama is the most powerful magic in the land so drama of Shakespearean proportions is what you will get. What to expect: - 👥 2-4 players - 🏳️🌈 A super queer space - ⏱ 2 Hour Sessions - 🗣 Lots and lots of roleplay - 🎶 Music and ambiance

Additional Details
How to prepare
Players need a working webcam, mic, internet connection, an account on DnDBeyond (link included in prep materials), and an account on roll20. Please double-check ahead of time that you can voice and video chat on roll20 (give it permission to access the mic and camera etc.) While playing, players should have their character sheet open in front of them on DnDBeyond or physically printed out. Please be familiar with the broad strokes of your character sheet before your first session.
What I provide
I will be providing access to my complete DnDBeyond library as well as providing maps, tokens, and ambient music and sound for atmosphere! I love to bring a narrative focus to D&D and am passionate about crafting a story that will "yes and" as much as you toss out into the space.
Gameplay details
After signing up, you will receive a Monte Cook RPG consent checklist covering everything in the Content Warning Tags and some other relevant phobias to fill out or add to. X, N, O's will be privately messaged via zoom chat function. Per our Open Door, you can take a break or turn off your camera no questions asked, policy will be stated at the beginning of the session. This campaign setting is all about interacting with the world so romancing NPCs, avoiding combat in favor of social encounters, and roleplay-heavy sessions are all fair game.
