What: A They Came from Beyond the Grave! One-Shot When: March 24, 2022, 9PM Eastern Who: Up to five players How: Via Discord for voice and dice, hosted through startplaying.games Why: To raise money for pet adoption **Cost: $20 USD** Monticello, Loisiana. 1975. This will be a schlocky one-shot of They Came from Beyond the Grave! Characters will be provided along with aids for how to play. Via Discord for Voice. *"Every 13 years, evil rises"* A 45 minute drive from Baton Rouge, Louisiana lies Monticello, LA, Located near the banks of the Comite River and the accompanying Copperhead Swamp, Monticello is known for it’s small town charm, antique architecture and the perseverance of the townfolk in the face of frequent floods. Yet every 13 years, massive broods of cicadas crawl from the ground, turning Copperhead into a buzzing, fetid mess of insect life. Even worse, local legends tell of a curse that befalls the town whenever the swamp bugs crawl to the surface… It is 1975. This summer the cicadas are expected to emerge. There to see it are a group of students from Louisiana State University, in town as part of a school project to study the rare phenomena.

How to prepare

Please have a clear microphone, stable internet connection, good imagination, and desire to have fun. All game materials will be provided by the Game Master.

This IS a horror game. There will be blood. As a 70s exploitation spoof, there may be mild adult content — language, sexual innuendo, and drug use are all possible.

How will character creation work

Five pregenerated characters will be provided, one for each of the major Archetypes from They Came from Beyond the Grave! First come, first serve in regards to selection.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
