About the adventure

THE GODS OF THEROS HAVE SPOKEN! THEY DEMAND BLOOD! a disease has racked the lands of theros for months now, and famine has caused starvation in the streets. crops wither and die, children are born deformed and animals that have in the past been docile now attack without provocation. many have turned to worship of the gods of theros, begging for mercy. the answers from the capricious gods... has been troubling. "it is time." the oracles say, in voices that are not their own, " it is time to offer up blood and sacrifice in glorious combat." and so it was, given onto them from the gods on high and taken down to every messenger who in turn to the message to every village: gather your bravest, your strongest. the gods cause our suffering and they demand sport to appease them. bring to them the den of battle and the clash of steel. let spears drink deep of hearts blood of men while those above lap it up in cups of gold and brass. the gods demand sacrifice, and we must be brave enough to face it. this is a gladiatorial one shot set up for the TakeThis Charity event this november. each player will be a gladiator, a champion of the people, or a sinister villain seeking blood shed and conquest. the goal is simple: survive and conquer. levels 1-20 characters will be used, no magical equipment. pregens will be provided! i've prepared multiple combat scenarios, and hopefully we'll have a fun time. levels for the game depend on what the players want don't worry i've got something prepared for whatever level you want to play! let's have fun for a good cause!

How to prepare

i'll need you to have a microphone. going over the rules will of course always be handy but i'm bigger with the rule of cool so we can go a little crazy. a discord or roll20 account is needed but i'd prefer both. be ready to have fun!

What I provide

i will be providing a dice bot for our rolls, as well as music, and the books as necessary.

How will character creation work

pregens and beyond accepted! and i will have pregens of my own! if you want i'll go through character creation with you as well.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
