The Wolves of Welton

About the adventure

It’s been a long time since the people of Welton, a village in the Ulvenes Valley in Western Kalithan, have worried about anything more frightening than sheep ticks or snow storms. But now a pack of strangely determined wolves is driving farmers from their fields and spiriting away entire flocks in the middle of the night. With food supplies running low and their sorcerer-in-residence nowhere to be found, the village council has sent out a desperate plea for brave adventurers to destroy the beasts for good. Is the job as easy as a walk in the woods, or is there more to the Wolves of Welton than mere animal cunning? There’s only one way to find out… This session is for players aged 17+, and will be a mix of about 50-60% roleplay and 40-50% Combat depending on the party's actions and attitude towards Roleplay.

How to prepare

You'll need to install fantasy grounds classic if you dont already have it (dont worry, as a player you only need the free Demo version to play). What I provide

I'll be bringing the maps, pregen character sheets, NPCs and terrible voice acting.

Gameplay details

Gameplay in this session will consist of medium-high difficulty combat and an equal measure of roleplay. Players are expected to be respectful of their fellow PCs, and some light joking over the course of the adventure is absolutely encouraged. After all, the point of DnD is for everyone to have fun.

How will character creation work

Characters will be level 3 and can be of any official race or class combination, UA classes are allowed but cannot be multiclassed. Characters MUST be created on Fantasy grounds to be easily used in the session. I'm willing to walk anyone unfamiliar with the programme through the process over voice chat, and will put my server up 2 hours before gametime for people to create their characters if they're unable to do that themselves before hand. Each Character will have 1 potion of healing. Characters should be made using the following stat array: "16, 15, 13, 10, 8, 6".

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
