The Witchlight Crossing: A Journey to Prismeer

About the adventure

A powerful fairy godmother has gone missing, and her eldest protégé is calling for aid. Will you brave adventurers go to the mysterious Witchlight Carnival, and find the portal to the Feywild and discover the fate of Zybilna; the Fairy Godmother. This is a 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons adventure set in a homebrew world and quickly going into the Feywild. I like to keep a balance between role-playing and combat, but I do slightly favor the role-playing. This adventure is written so that it can be played combat free, if the players are clever and wily enough. Everyone is welcome at the table, veterans and beginners. We'll play using Dndbeyond and AboveVTT. There will be battlemaps, visual aids, and some funny voices to liven up the experience. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly.

How to prepare

You will need a mic, Discord, a FREE Dndbeyond account, and the AboveVTT extension/plug-in available on Chrome and Firefox, and a positive attitude. We are all equally responsible for the energy we bring to the table. No previous experience with D&D is required.

What I provide

I have all the books needed on Dndbeyond for plenty of character options. I also use supplements from dmsguild.com to really flush out the adventures to their fullest potential. And most importantly, I bring fun and a great attitude to every session.

Gameplay details

Although this adventure begins with a fair bit of whimsy, dark things are lurking all around. During Session 0 we will discuss any triggers that you would like me to be aware of so that we make sure that our sessions together are as enjoyable as possible for everyone. Feel free to message me directly with any needs you may have that you don't feel comfortable discussing in group and I will do my very best to make the necessary changes for optimum fun and comfortability.

How will character creation work

We'll create Custom characters together during Session 0, using Dndbeyond, and the Standard Array for Abilities. Please, no evil characters. Spooky characters are still fine as long as no one in the group has objections. I'm happy to accommodate homebrew races and subclass options found on Dndbeyond, after a thorough examination.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
