About the adventure

The Witch is Dead is a one page TTRPG created by Grant Howitt, in which the players portray a group of witches familiars with the goal of reviving their fallen witch after they're murdered by a dastardly witch-hunter, and the shenanigans and adventures they face along the way! In this one shot, expect magic, mystery, mischief, and mayhem as you create your animal characters, solve mysteries in the village, and take down evil humans to save your friend, the Witch - after all, who'll give you treats now if they're dead? I've loved this game for a long time and it's always been a grand time for everyone involved, so I'm excited to play with more people! This system is really easy to get into, involving only some d10s, some imagination, and a desire to cause a little chaos. If this sounds like you, than this might be the game for you! Content warning for potential animal violence and violence towards animals: It's not my intention to have too much in the game but as the players themselves are playing animals, dangerous situations may arise. However it is not something that will be narrated graphically, or at all if that is something that is going to be uncomfortable at the table.

How to prepare

You'll need at very least a microphone, webcam is not required, but you can be on cam if you'd like! I'll be sending a link to the discord if needed.

Gameplay details

Players are encouraged and welcome to message me if they have any questions, and to be open at the table if they have any concerns about safety. Before the game starts, I'll be in conversations with the players to make sure we refrain from anything that would make any of us uncomfortable and take away from the fun of the game. Safety and fun are my number one priorities.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen during the session and involves rolling for a character on the night - if you don't like what you rolled, though, you can simply choose from the list.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
