About the adventure

Come one, Come all, to the Witchlight Carnival, the greatest show on the material plane! We are back for the first time in 8 years, now in town for 2 days only! Come experience the magic, the wonder, and the excitement we have to offer. See the shows, experience the lights, the sounds and the fantastic displays for all to enjoy. Don't let the large treant scare you, that's just Northwind, he really a big softie, just don't step on his roots. If you get lost, thats part of the wonder, just look for one of our colorful Witchlight Hands to guide you back to the path. Can't find a Witchlight Hand, then you're probably in Prismeer, and have a whole other adventure of wonder ahead of you. Be sure to get your ticket today, and don't try to sneak in else you'll have to test your luck against the thieves of Faerie. Can't afford a ticket? No Problem, just stop by the stand and perhaps a mysterious benefactor has purchased one for you. Join us for a limited time, for if you miss it, you will have to wait another 8 years for us to return! This will be more of a horror telling of the Witchlight module, amd many of the elements of the campaign will be modified to reflect that. There will be many dark elements of this campaign including the results of consequences from fey deals, child exploitation and abuse, and aspects of slavery.

Additional Details

How to prepare

A Mic is required, but a webcam is preferred. You will need internet access as well to access foundry at a link I will provide when we start playing, as well as to access their character sheets on dndbeyond. Foundry does not require any download as it is web based. I welcome my players to use their own dice if they have them, or they can use the digital dice on dndbeyond or Foundry VTT if they would rather have the math all done for them.

What I provide

I will bring dice if everyone is local and willing to play in person. However if we are playing remote, personal dice are welcome, or you can use the digital dice in dndbeyond or Foundry VTT. I will provide in game handouts whether in person or digital. If we are playing in person, I will provide a Mini for each player they are welcome to keep when the campaign has ended, for digital games I will do my best to help players find a character art that fits their vision for their character. I also do voices for NPC's and use background music for better immersion.

Gameplay details

I utilize an open door policy for my games, if you need to step away in session or talk to me after the game I am open for that. We are all at the table to have fun and I want my players to feel safe and able to do so. I will be having all my players fill out a consent in gaming survey prior to the game as well. I welcome feedback and encourage everyone to touch base frequently to make sure we are all on the same page.

How will character creation work

We will create level 1 characters in a session 0 that will be free where we will roll stats and discuss backstories. Characters will be created on dndbeyond attached to a campaign of mine so you can access all of my added content into the site.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
