About the adventure

Nature forged man. Man forged the Intelligent Machine known as Alt-X. It was only then that Galactic history for humanity could truly begin. The Way of All Flesh is a Cosmic Sci-Fi RPG world exploring the inevitable and potentially cataclysmic conflict between Nature and Artificial Intelligence. The backstory takes place over an enormous expanse of time, within the context of ancient histories, and against the backdrop of the terrifying potential of a Super Artificial Intelligence gone horribly, and exponentially, wrong. Elthos RPG is a system of my own design created in 1978, with books on DriveThruRPG, and a web application called Elthos RPG Mythos Machine that fully supports my game system with world building and character management ... it's a full blooded web application that allows the players to log in, create and manage their characters, does all the number crunching, and provides nicely formatted prints of both, the areas of the world that the PCs can currently see, and their Characters Sheets. It's an amazing tool, and a huge time saver for both me, the GM, and my Players. The game may be recorded for later use on ancillary projects including actual play writeups and/or other productions.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Good equipment is requested. Web cam is optional, but a good mic and bandwidth is required. We will use Discord mostly, and primarily it will be theater of the mind, with tactical combat using posted maps, and possibly a jaunt out onto Roll20 or similar platform occasionally if necessary.

The Mythos Machine is designed to help you create your Character(s) in a jiffy. Mythos Machine will provide you with everything you need to build and maintain a robust character in my World.
