About the adventure

True, I was hired to sail them past the Witch’s Teeth. Four adventurers looking to earn a name; who was I to throw vinegar on their fancies? I took ’em within a rowboat’s jaunt of the place to the door on the rock. I know as much of the place as any sailor—nothing. The man who built that door and its innards was known as Pallon the Pious, a pirate of some renown. Given his actions in life, I don’t know how he made right with any god when he died. The adventurers? Well, I imagine you five want me to take you out. Perhaps you’ll find your answer there…

You should come prepared with a story to tell, one where your character did a great wrong. Every player will have to do this.

I host these games on my private D&D server, which has Avrae and channels dedicated to the game.

Gameplay details

Explore a cave called the Vault of Pallon the Pious, having to talk about their worst misdeeds as they do so. Some combat, but mostly puzzles and roleplay. Gameplay will be done using Avrae. This adventure takes place in the word of Mytros, a Greek-inspired campaign setting in the Bronze Age! The Player's Guide to Mytros will be with my houserules.

How will character creation work

Characters will have to be created using Avrae-compatible character sheets such as D&D Beyond before the session. Characters will be level 2, using Standard Array and Point Buy. Characters will also start with 80 additional gold if they have not played in my last oneshot, and gold can be spent on a common magic item (for 50 gp) or healing potions (at 25 gp).

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
