About the adventure
- Open World Exploration (after intro session) - Interconnected tables w/ multi-table events - Build settlements, homes, and bastions that other tables can visit - Join a growing, dedicated Discord community for in character role play and multi-table general game chat for players to meet others who share their interest (the game doesn't have to stop when we stop rolling dice) Long ago, a massive cataclysm struck Faerun, causing a powerful magical upheaval. Every corner of the land was affected in some way, but most mysteriously, a once-prosperous continent, Immion, vanished. Immion, now seen only as a myth and fairy tale, most knowledge of it's former glory has been lost to time. However, recent seismic activity and unusual magical phenomena have revealed that perhaps the long-lost continent is resurfacing. Adventurers, explorers, and scholars from all over are putting together expeditions and flocking to the reemerging land to uncover its secrets and unearth its artifacts. The characters are invited to a prestigious council of scholars, explorers, and leaders who have gathered to organize various factions for an expedition to the lost continent. Each faction has its own goals, and the party must decide which faction to align with, if any, knowing that their choices after will shape the expedition's direction, the future of this mysterious land, and perhaps all of Faerun itself.

How to prepare
The players will need: - A free D&D Beyond account: https://www.dndbeyond.com/ - The Discord app installed for voice chat: https://discord.com/ *Links for the server and table will be sent after confirmation off joining the table. Any questions about how to play, what to do, or what any of this is can be sent to me here and I will happily answer any and all of your questions in a timely manner.
What I provide
A DM level sub to D&D Beyond (source books included), a dedicated high speed server for hosting games, printable maps and handouts (optional), custom tokens upon request, high quality music and ambience, and eventually a portrait of the party, by a commissioned professional artist, to download and print.
Gameplay details
In Session 0 we will go over the basics of Dungeons and Dragons and explain how the various systems like travel, exploration, combat, etc., for those unfamiliar. Session 0 will also be used to get to know each other, build characters, and establish background canon as a group while discussing campaign goals as well as any potential triggers for players and how to handle them if the situation ever arises.

How will character creation work
During Session 0 (or prior to the game for new players afterwards) we will make characters on D&D Beyond before heading over to Foundry VTT to go over everything else. Characters will start at Level 2 unless joining later in the campaign.
